The purpose of the Young Viticulturist of the Year Competition is to find a national viticulture sector representative to compete in the Young Horticulturist of the Year Competition. Regional competitions are run by local viticulture and wine industry organisations to find representatives to compete in a national competition. The winner of that competition will compete in the Grand Final for the Young Horticulturist of the Year Competition.
