NZ Cabernet Merlot Forum

Hawke's Bay Winegrowers was pleased to host the inaugural NZ Cabernet Merlot Forum in November 2008. Designed as a forum for excellence, sessions featured case studies, trade perspectives, history and comparative tastings of wines within the Cabernet Merlot category.

An impressive lineup of speakers presented at the Forum including James Lawther, celebrated wine writer and Master of Wine; Pete Bissell, Balnaves of Coonawarra and Nick Stock, renowned Australian wine journalist and critic. Joining these international experts were New Zealand's own experts Dr David Jordan, Cameron Douglas MS,

Jim Delegat, Steve Smith, Tony Forsyth, Dr Petra King, Nicholas Buck and Peter Cowley to name a few.
